Dr. Mehvish Saleem

BIO

Dr. Mehvish Saleem has completed her PhD thesis in the field of ELT Methodology at the University of Graz, Austria and holds a Master’s degree in English Linguistics from the University of Karachi. She has been teaching since 2005. Her professional experience includes teaching varied English language and Communication courses in diverse higher education contexts. She was a committee member of the IATEFL ReSIG and worked as the Joint Events Coordinator. Her key academic and professional achievements include receiving a PhD fellowship from the HEC, Pakistan, working as an editor, ELT Graz Working Paper at the University of Graz, Austria, working as a support teacher trainer for EDLINKS-USAID and studying as a visiting postgraduate student at the University of Warwick, UK. Her research interests include psychology of language learning and teaching, Complex Systems Theory and teaching English in ‘difficult circumstances’.
